My first Lp ever, at the tender age of four, was a solo Donny OsMOnd record. Loved him, but got over him real fast, MOving on to much bigger, better and heavier..

  The first album, I bought with my chore MOney, was Foreigners self titled debut back in 1977, ya know with all the killer jams, like Headknocker and Feels Like the First Time, Cold as Ice etc...

 Well, I played the shit out of that album, along with all my MOms psychadelic 60's records, Cream, Steppenwolf, The Experience, Iron Butterfly etc, and I indulged in heavy doses of The Beatles... at first, she was tickled, Ahhh, ain't that cute? She's so into music, at such a young age. 

BUT,  I literally was wearing them out, leaving them strewn everywhere, singing at the top of my lungs and spending all my time in front of the turntable..

  MOther, had a brainiac idea!

 "Maureen, if you bring home straight A's on your next report card, I will reward you with $100 to spend at PEACHES Records & Tapes" 
 TOKEn gift, she bought me headphones...funny, my mom was a thinker.

Needless to say, by the time I was a teenager,
 my album collection was beyond admirable and
 I had been turned on to
  MARIJUANA....

 Needless to say my grades slipped from A's to B's
 I have remained loyal to both,
 MaryJane and Music
   If it wasn't for both, I'd of gone nuts a long time ago.
